i like this guy, he likes me,all is good, except we are not sure if we want to date, because he is friends with my ex, we don't want to break thire friendship up[the one they still have] though i don't really think he[ex] cares anymore.... so what should we do? and guys, would you date your friends ex?

I would never date a good friends ex girlfriend regardless. If we are really good friends and are really cool there is no way that
I would go down that road. Besides why would you want to be someone that your friend has been with? Not to mention that you saw what made that girlfriend an ex and hen you want to put yourself through the same thing? I say leave it alone if you and your friend are really cool with each other. Ask the guy you like to speak to his friend. If he is a good friend, he should have no problem with the situation. I would date my friends ex if there was a connection between us. If my friend didn't like his ex, then there must be a really good reason, in which case, i might not like his ex in the first place.

How good of friends are they?
A friend should never date his friends ex. Man law. The other guy would have to be 100 percent cool with it. Most likely hes not.
Someones gonna get hurt if theres still feelings involved.

You shouldn't risk your personal happiness on the fact your ex may be unhappy with you moving on. As for the guy you are interested in, he needs to weigh the decision of, his love life or a friend. Odds are he won't even care (the ex). But in the end, it is entirely up to you.

if you still friend with he's ex don't do it because that's not nice if you have a best friend, and he or she went dating your boyfriend.
it's look like you couldn't wait for them to broke up or you causing them to broke up so you could be with the boyfriend. very bad move to date that guy. because friend mean i'm here for you and you there for me in any situations. 100% trusting. friendship why not but don't go further with him

ask your ex b4 you do anything...this way your ex feels good about everything and happy that you came to him 1st....tell him that if he doesnt want it to happen then it wont...but if he doesnt care then dont worry! lol but still ask him just to be safe!
