RSV is only a child cold unless an adult is extremely sick adults normally don't get it. Your husband and you should be fine. I don't know how old your son is but, if he's a school ager he might get a little cold. If he's younger then you could try to wash anything he came incontact with last night and today as a precaution and encourage hand washing and not sharing sodas and other items. It's just a really bad cold in the respiratory system. Respiratory System Virus. It'll go away with time like all viruses. If your son has Asama or is already sick or is under the age of 2 he may need to see a doctor as soon as possible if he start showing signs of a cold with wheezing, fever, shortness of breath, coughing, etc. the doctor can give the child a steroid usually Albuterol to help the child's respiratory system be stronger until the virus is gone. There is no vacine for RSV.

I comprehend approximately not desirous to push your self into her grieving time, quite on the grounds which you're pregnant. it somewhat is hard. i might in all probability deliver a sympathy card and according to danger even provide her a decision. If she isn't waiting to communicate you are able to continuously depart a message expressing your condolences and enable her be attentive to you're there for her if she desires something. i does not press it extra desirable, if she needs to call then you definitely she will. people do grieve very in yet differently and a few choose to be on my own on an analogous time as others choose to take heed to from people. this is hard to declare how guy or woman people will act below those situations. sturdy success jointly with your being pregnant!

RSV is not really very dangerous to adults and healthy children
its like a very severe cold.... it is really only harmful or dangerouse to those with low immune systems
Its a very hardy virus, can live on hard surfaces for up to 36 hours. Yes its possible for them to have contracted it.
Just remember "an ounce of prevention......"- WASH HANDS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a virus and can be treated with acetaminophen to reduce fever or common cold syrup to ease the symptoms.
Unless you came in close contact with baby and he or she sneezed on you and you didn't get vaccinated as a child, there is a possibility, just like an other kind of virus.
If you get symptoms, let your doctor know that you came in contact with the virus.

My friends daughter had it last year ended up in the hospital. They let us visit her but we had to wear a mask the first couple days and our kids were not allowed in. Just keep an eye on you child but dont freak out even if he gets sick take him to the doctor. Youll be fine.

It is a respiratory disease and I don't believe that it's contagious. I would ask a doctor though.
