If you are lucky (and from the sound of it, you're NOT), then the other insurance company will let you make monthly payments to them until all costs of settlement are recovered. Be warned: if you get this chance, it will be your ONLY one. Get behind on the payments and they will pounce on you like Rosie Odonnell on a doughnut. The fact that you did not have insurance is a criminal matter that you will have to explain to the state of Texas.

You will likely be sued by the people in the accident. Were there injuries, and if so, do what degree? Did an ambulance show up at the scene, were medics there? If the people you hit had insurance, it will help them, not you. They can hold you liable for many different things, it would be best for you to get an attorney, it could be very expensive, you may lose more than money, maybe your license. Alot depends on how much damage and other things we would need more info about. Good luck.

The at fault party will go through their own insurance who will pay for the repairs to the vehicle, rental, and medical bills. Their insurance will then send a bill to you for all the above.
If you do not pay back their insurance in a timely manner- they will suspend your license and garnish your wages. I suggest when you receive the bill you call them to set up a payment plan.
