Sounds to me like a yeast infection. But there are soooo many different kind of skin disorders. Mange, yeast, bacterial.
I would say yeast.
Depending on the breed of dog and where you live in the world, yeast can be a pretty bad problem for dogs. Not to mention for people who have to live with the smell haha.
I would definitly say, take the doggie to the doctor. They may decide to do a skin scraping, if it is called for. But most likely they'll send you on your way with some cephlexin, maybe keto, and some special shampoo to help get the yeast off of the skin and promote healing while the anti-biotics work their magic!

Take your dog to the vet.
Since she's starting to loose hair, has really red skin, itches a lot, and "smells like stinky cheese", this seems to be something that's been going on for a bit. You should've taken her in when she first started itching and having red skin, before things got worse.
There are a lot of things that can be the cause of this, such as mange, a variety of skin conditions, allergies, spider / bug bites, etc. Only your vet will be able to tell what the cause is and what treatment should be.

If your dog smells like cheese i would take it to the vet ASAP. Usually the smell of cheese signifies a possible infection. So if it is bad i would take it to get checked out.

She needs to be seen by a vet. Sounds like she has some kind of skin infection and no one here can tell you how to make it better.
Be a good owner and take her to the vet.
