"While certain media boldly report that there were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January. Since the onset of the war in Iraq there have been over 70,000 murders in the US. "

And what about all these FACTS?

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following:
A. FDR led us into World War II.

B. Germany never attacked us; Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost .. An average of 112,500 per year.

C. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea . North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ... An average of 18,334 per year.

D. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.

E. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden' s head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing.

One person will not stop the media that led us to war so it can hammer the leader of that war. It is the oldest trick in the book . Thanks to Randolf Hearst. The latest is that the troops do not have the right training or equipment so right or wrong it will not change a thing. We went into Iraq because Saddam kicked out the UN weapon Inspectors and violated the no fly zone 13 times, and our planes where shot at 56 different times, but if you ask the " Informed " people of this country why we are there they will say " WMD" . Search the web and type in CPUSA these are the folks behind the anti-war protest in DC last month.after that E-mail me and I will teach you more. young jeti

Well... I don't understand at all..

You state about deaths in Iraq and murders in the US, but how does that tie in to the reasonings behind going into the various other wars throughout history?

Is your logic that if someone opposes the Iraq War yet feels that WWII participation was justified is a hypocrite because Germany didn't attack us? There are other factors, you're not making much sense.

I don't really understand the point of your post....

But you said "there were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January."... first, that is not accurate, so I don't know where you got that number... it is a much higher number, trust me.

And you said "since the onset of the war in Iraq there have been over 70,000 murders in the US."... what does this have to do with anything? And where did you get that number??? *sigh*

How did Kennedy start Vietnam? Johnson initiated operation "Rolling Thunder." Do you even know how Vietnam got started?
Clinton also went in Somalia. Good movie about that.

I think you facts are good with the possibility that FDR had no choice, so that could be a little off. I would like to add that for all those that think FDR took us out of the depression, it was Hitler who took us out of the depression, in a most horrible way. That is to say, the war took us out, not FDR.

Is this meant to be thought provocking or something. Anyone with a brain can see that we invaded countries throughout History. However I suggest you research your "FACTS" in depth before shoving them down out throats as gospel.
