Since nobody can prove 100% there is not a God, thats makes the existance of God, a possibility to ALL(however small that maybe to some). Even if there was a .00000001 chance you can have eternal life by just believing in God, wouldnt it be worth it? My only true question is why would u not believe?

Amen! I really and truly believe in myself, and i look forward to having a home in Heaven with my savour and God. Take care, and God. Thanks for helping me to reaffirm something I already believe.

It is my belief that all will have eternal life. From the sinner to the saint, all souls will live for eternity. The question is, do they wish to spend it with a God they love, or apart form one they denied. I agree with you however in the case of "what if your wrong"...not a chance Id be willing to take. The concern that this draws out is, do some Christians follow Christianity purely as an insurance policy? I feel tha if that is the case, then they are missing all the joy in this life that God intended us to have.

People don't believe because they haven't read the Bible to find the truth. We aren't given eternal life as in our body. Our soul will continue on. As far as living forever in my body-and I could remain as I am forever? You need to watch a few episodes of "Highlander the series" You find that living forever you slowly lose all the people you love, except for other immortals but then, there can be only one.

Firstly, I would not want to live forever, thank you. Secondly, you go to the doctor, he tells you thaty you have a terminal disease. there is a .00000001 change it will cure itself - or you can have surgery. What do you do?

There is a .00000000001 chance you can drive at 100mph blindfolded and live. If you do you will get £1million. Do you take it? Why not?

Would choosing to "believe" on the remote chance of having eternal life not be hypocrisy?

no i would not like to live forever.

i would like to cease to exist some day.

only when you can lose something does it become valuable. what value would you hold to life if you knew u could not lose it? if it could not be taken from you? if you lived for eternity things would get boring, eventually u would lose all reason to do anything. i cant imagine why anyone would like to live forever.
