Honey, I've got a band......... it's like no other. There is no drama! I hand picked the members considering talent & personality. When you make a CD, you just have to figure it's only because you would like a recording of your own music. If you do things as a group, always vote on everything, no matter what, and NEVER NEVER make decisions by yourself, or only talking to part of the band, you have a good start. Noone should make decisions for the group without first asking the group. Have a band meeting & discuss the website, and recording issues. VOTE ON IT ALL! Hear what everyone has to say about it all! Listen to everyone's opinion! Whatever the vote says is what the verdict always is! We vote on songs, practice time & day, whether to do a gig or not, when it's time to record, should we put an add in the paper....... You just have to think that if by chance someone has an opinion that's different from all others all the time, it's probably time to replace that member of the band & set them free to find what they really want. Good luck!

I'd say you guys need to sit down and all agree on what the site has on it even if it means redoing the whole site being in a band is like a marriage and sometimes you need to compromise. Also is the person leaving over the summer commited to the band if not kick them out and find someone new because if your as serious as im thinking you are you need to make sure everyone is on the same page. As far as the leader thing goes you should all have a say in it granted there will be times when people have to step up to do things but if there are 2 people butting heads they should work together towards the greater good

I would suggest you all sit down seriously..and work out your schedules* If what's on the website...will cause you to not get this band up and going...then it needs to be removed.
All bands have arguements/disagreements...you're spending alot of time together, non stop practicing to make it a great show/song...some may feel their song lyrics or music should be submitted while others are not agreeing with that. If one member has to go away over the summer....then you all need to decide what to do. No sense on promoting and setting up gigs if one of the band members won't be there. You definately all need to figure something out as to who will be the Lead singer*..Perhaps the other person can do his own song or two throughout the sets., and the other lead singer can be backup or a duo of somekind. If you're all going to argue about who's doing what you will never get started. YOu'll all say this is too many headaches...see ya*
You all really need to FOCUS on what you're doing...Starting up a band!!!!...talk out the things you're all arguing over and come to terms with an agreement from all....or your band will Not go anywhere. Remind everyone else in the band....what's at hand right now......And start working things out* GOODLUCK*

Get rid of your damn egos, don't release an album release a demo don't give everything away for free, I hope before you got in a band you weren't thinking it is going to be easy especially with "High-caliber" musicians whoa re capable of writing full songs. There doesn't need to be a leader, ever. It needs to stand as a democracy. Get all of your insecurities out of the way, be willing to compromise. Egos will tear your band apart. If you haven't already you need to get over your self, Just like every other person in your band if they don't well, you don't need me to tell you what is going to happen. Think of how tour would be?¿ Miserable. You have to work together, if you can't i wouldn't waste your time in the band anymore.

The only way a band can survive is to have it's members communicate with each other and each member has a share responsibilities. Who's in charge of maintaining the website? Who gets the gigs together, etc...?
