As a retired federal law enforcement officer with 31 years of experience, I submit that enforcing the law for me would be doing your job as prescribed by law and regulation, with equality and no preferential treatment. However, I know two Border Patrol agents who enforced the law when they apprehended an illegal alien drug smuggler, with 700 pounds of marijuana, which resulted in the border patrol agents being sent to prison for 12 years, sentences now being served. The illegal alien drug smuggler was not prosecuted, however, was recruited by the over zealous U.S.Attorney in Texas, to testify against the two agents. Finally, the illegal alien drug smuggler has filed a lawsuit against the United States Government for five million dollars, for the alleged violation of his "civil rights". This is what law enforcement means under the current oval office occupant.
