I think the balance of both is the best...but generally quality is great. But one great quality day out of a year would just not work. The best is always to have a good time often!

Depending on the age, but generally, quantity is more important. The reason is because you are teaching them important social skills, transferring your values to your children and also teaching important educational lessons. All of these things require time and attention. If they aren't getting them from the parents, they are getting these valuble lessons from someone else who's values, social skills and educational influences may not be to the parents' liking or standards.

i spend 99 percent of thetime with my kids, i recently did a parenting course and realised that although i spend that time with them i have so many other chores that its quality not quantity. i now give much more quality and they love it!! bless them
