Ok at my school if your guess has droped out they can not attend the prom but I really want to go but my boyfirend cant cause he drope out he told me I cant go this year or next because he dont want me to go unless he is there but that is something I dont want to miss out on it is a once in a life time event.
So what should I do?
Tell him I am going wit frineds or not go at all

i'm missing my prom too, since boyfriend wont let me go, since he cant go either (hes in college) ...at first i was terrified that i couldn't go! but then i thought about it.. why would i go if he cant be there? why would i have such a special night without him? id rather go to some nice restaurant and spend my night with him rather than havinf fun and thinking about my poor boyfriend at home without me. just think about it

He is trying to control you. That is a big red warning sign, there is no reason why you cant go with your friends except for the fact that he is jealous. Does he have a valid reason why he doesn't want you to go??? What about when you decide that you want to be somebody and go to college? Is he gona say you cant go cuz I cant go?? Dump the looser. You know you should be at the dance or you wouldn't be asking on yahoo. Don't date that type of boy you deserve better. Look in the mirror, you know you want more than some drop out jealous control freak, you don't need a daddy you WANT a partner. your life will go on without him. Good luck.

GO! He isn't your husband and slaves have been set free. He is being selfish. What happens if you break up in a few months or after next years prom? Then you have missed out on two proms...and for what? If he is that insecure that he would break up with you if you go then you don't need the guy. Be nice about it if you possibly can...but go and enjoy! You are only young once. Don't live your life with regrets.

dump the loser!!! If he wants to drop out and ruin his life then thats cool, but dont let him ruin yours!!!!! Go to the prom and have a great time, because if he cared about you at all, he wouldnt want you to miss out on such an amazing event!!

Go, don't let someone else tell you what to do with your life... if you don't go, you'll NEVER have went to your prom. And if that's something you really want to do, you'll really regret it later. You'll regret going out with this guy, and you'll regret letting him boss you around... if I were you, I would dump him and go to prom and have fun with my friends.
