We feed her iams food and only leave her in her crate a maximum four hours at a time. We ALWAYS take her out many times before we put her in and feed her atleast 2 hours before she goes in.

Dogs/Puppies don't poo in their crates unless there's a problem. Maybe she had a bad tummy or was left in her crate a bit too long. She may have ate it so it wouldn't be sitting in the crate with her..(yuck) I do believe that in certain situations a dog will eat poo, but it's usually from a different animal. (I thought) I would just watch her as closely as possible. make sure she's not snacking from somewhere she shouldn't be. If it keeps up, you will have to take her to the vet.
Also, Boxers are gassy dogs. It may just be gas...

You need it to get a crate that is ajustable, so it will grow with her. If she doesn't have enough room to poop and sit down, she will not go. There are some crates where you move back a wire piece when it is time. Go to Petsmart to find one. If this doesn't help let me know!

Yes they can sometimes eat their poo. When they are still puppies their food does not digest all the way and get all the nutrients so they will eat their poo to get the nutrients.

A boxer is a high strung dog that needs lots of exercise and a yard, I have never been a fan of crates.

It sounds more like she's eating poor quality food and is passing gas and has diarrhea. Change to a better quality dog food.

DO you have a video camera or a web cam that can record. if so comfine her to a room and see what she does when you leave and that will give you your answer.

I have seen a dog do that before, but it was obvious to me that the dog was starving.

Might be best to consult with a Vet.
