Symptoms of food poisoning depend on the type of contaminant and the amount eaten. The symptoms can develop rapidly, within 30 minutes, or slowly, worsening over days to weeks. Most of the common contaminants cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramping. Usually food poisoning is not serious, and the illness runs its course in 24-48 hours.

Be more specific.
hours for toxins and contaminants. 24-96 hours for most bacteria etc... longer for parasites....
could take weeks to see the effects of some..

ALL of the people above me are STUPID...
Seriously folks.. don't give advice if you don't know.. .Toxoplama gondii can take almost a month... Listeria can take weeks. .

What are your symptoms?

I love reading uneducated answers... if it happens within hours it is usually contamination from sanitizer, or from a toxin forming bacteria... i.e. staph etc.

The symptoms are GENERALLY gastrointestinal sometimes presenting with blood.... others can lead to jaundice even brain cysts..
