I absolutely forgot how long to broil the chicken for one of my favorite recipes. Anyone able to help, THANKS! (its 2 chicken breasts at 1lb)

Place chicken, bone side up, on broiler pan and broil about 8 inches from heat for 5 minutes. Turn and broil 5 minutes longer.

I usually place the breasts between sheets of baking paper and then flatten a little with the side of a mallet. You want the thickness to be the same along the whole breast. That way, the whole piece will cook more evenly without dry or undercooked patches. If they're about 1 inch thick 7 min each side. Cook a little more or less depending on the thickness. Let stand for a couple of min before serving.
