There are 6,700 languages in the world... so I'd say it's 99.999recurring% likely that no human has the mental capacity to know all of them (or even be able to say hello in all of them, when prompted).
A powerful computer could in theory be programmed to speak all of them, though.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, there is no current record.

Being fluent in every language in the world...that would take you a really long time...
How bout learning a few words from every language in the world?
I bet people can do that.

I rather doubt that any one person could be fluent in the more that 1,000 languages and dialects in the world. There is a savant from England who learned Icelandic in one week and was then fluent. But, how to keep so many languages separate in your mind.

It's not hundreds of languages... It's more like about 7000 languages.
And of course it's impossible to know them all... I speak 4 languages, but know someone who speaks 14 (fluently)... Don't know what the record is though... I guess it would be hard to measure, because you'd have to measure fluency in each language, which would be extremely difficult to do for someone who knows so many.

Yes it is possible if you study really hard and try to learn every language. but i doubt that there are any people in the world that know them all. one part of the world can have 6 languages and another 70. but they don't even know the other languages exist

The most I've ever heard was a woman who could speak 12 different languages fluently. I think anymore than that would be a bit confusing, but you never know!

You probably can, but at the same time, if you don't use them you will loose them.. How many people do you know, where you can talk to them everyday so you can keep your language skill up.?? Not many..
