......and they could talk and, when asked about God, they said: "Whoooooooooo?" (in a Mark and Lard style). What implications would that have on our belief system that God is God of everything?

I love the arrogance of some answers saying words to the effect of they hadn't heard of God yet and would learn. So WE are putting ourselves on top of the pile as the cleverest and most 'in the know' creatures AGAIN! What we beleive is the be all and end all! The arrogance of man no know bounds - not even the rest of the universe.

maybe monotheists would finally wake up and realize that there are many, many, many valid ways to see the universe.

Could be that God has chosen to conceal his existence from them.

Sorry I couldn't put more thought into it - I'm laughing so much at the thought of travelling light years to find intelligent life and finding a planet with Mark & Lard! LOL just doesn't do it justice.

I do believe in aliens. I would consider myself to be very close-minded if I thought we were the only life force in the universe. God made them too.

If intelligent life was found on another Planet, we would invent another description and character for GOD.

God does exist in many forms to many people and I dont see why the life form would not believe in some sort of 'all powerful' being?

Good question though!

cosidering religon as a whole is peoples views passed down over the years, i'd tell them about our beleifs, see what they belive, and then twist the truth so that mankind comes out top.

or i'd accept thier view and maybe even combine it with ours. either way, what are the chances of even talking to the life forms and the life forms not killing us, because we belive the bible, or what not.

It would enable the first inter-planetary war. The result would then prove that the winning side also had God on their side. Or not, as the case may be.

Probably nothing more than create a bunch of Abrahamic Monotheists who feel its their duty to commit acts of proselytization upon the "savages" of this other world, so they can save their souls as well.

No doubt there would be a spaceship headed there with fundies that would tell them 'bout Jeeesus.

The cruelest irony would be them trying to convert humans to worship their 6 headed god xixiwnnquipn.
