My suggestion is to chose a delivery company in the other person's area and have it delivered locally. Don't take a chance on sending it long distance, you know it will melt.

Pack it in a brown cardboard box and mail it. Try Fed-Ex or regular US Post Office.

My mom sends me choc. fudge and peanut butter fudge every year. She just wraps it in saran wrap and puts it in a box and sends it regular mail. It arrives just fine!

I wouldn't mail that at all. It would melt and that would be disgusting.
