I would think the logical place to start would be in a remedial English class to learn proper spelling, grammar and sentence structure. That is, if you are serious about being a business owner in today's world.

first get a small to med size store. you need, decks, sets, griptape, wheels, bearings, sk8 videos, shoes (DC, Trans, ...) gear, (helmets, pads, ...) sk8 mags 4 sale, pop machine(optional) to get ideas for clothing get a skateboarding magazine and see what brands that they are advertising, some posters, get a cool name for the place, rail wax, and last but not least, some stuff or (a) deck(s) signed by a pro, oh, and you have to know about pro skaters, and keep on the in side of the crowd.

I would start with some Entrepreneurial classes at a local community college and university. It is easy to think up business ideas and have the love of what you are selling. but that actual mechanics and processes of running a business can be difficult. You will rarely be successful if you don't know what you are doing.
