Homeschooling can cost anywhere from very little to a couple grand depending on the material and program you choose. If you want to be homeschooled I recommend that you come up with a plan, outline the material you plan to cover or pick a curriculum and plan out dates by witch you mean to accomplish curriculum goals. Present this information to your parents and they may take you seriously.
Benefits to homeschooling are that you waste a lot of time waiting and getting ready to learn. You are freer to explore your interests at greater depth and usually have a better idea of what you want to do or study. If you work diligently you may be able to finish earlier than the four year high school program. Many children spend only the morning hours studying and then have the rest of the day free to study what they want or do something else.
I recommend finding out what style of curriculum or approach that your parents would be more likely to think favorable about before you present an exact outline of how you would like to homeschool. If you do the research and put it together well and get excited about it, I think it would be hard for parents to turn that down.

I think the national average for a homeschooled child is $250-$300. That can be more for a high school student because the books are thicker and more expensive. It also depends on the electives chosen. For instance, Spanish is much more expensive than keyboarding.
Laziness and procrastination do not mix well with homeschooling. It does not sound like you are a good candidate for this. If your mom wants to homeschool you, then maybe she can motivate you to do the work, but if it is left up to you [which I suspect it would be because you are the one asking this question, not your mom] then you will have a terrible time getting the work done.
There might be another option here such as a trade school or a GED program.
You do need to carefully consider where you are going in life. If you can't make yourself go to school - which is something everyone naturally expects to do - then how will you make yourself go to work every day at a job?

um well, you cant be lazy when it comes to homeschool because its not like public school. its not free. go figure. it cost money by the month. mine cost about $200-250 and thats only because i was in senior year. and if you put it off and you just let the books sit there its like your putting out money for nothing, so i recommend if you do wanna be homeschooled that you stick to it. i had mine done within 6 months. and that's a hole year of school. =)

I can't give you any kind of financial quote for hoemschooing becasue I don't have enough information regarding your learning style.
I do suggest you pick up the book Cathy Duffy's 100 Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum. Read through and answer the first few chapters so you can get to know your learning style.
You have to be willing to dedicate yourself to any education efforts in order for them to work. Maybe you need to be learning on tiemand project management and self-discipline before you try to move on with "normal education."

Depending on what your state requires. My state requires - nothing.
The public school I pulled my kids from enforced a "uniform policy"
( big buck out window there) But- their homeschool material for the year- was less than half of the cost of "uniforms" and the required "school supply list"

We spend about $60 a year to homeschool five kids. That's school supplies and library late fees.

cost is extremely variable..
But I will say this. many children fail in public schools because they are not challenged enough or they fall through the cracks when they struggle..
In a home school environment they can devise a curriculum towards their interests and therefor inspire a child to learn.. they can get one on one attention in the areas they need... You cant force a child to learn.. they have to want to learn.. and that's when they excel...

if you're stupid and lazy, why do you think you will stop being that way just because you are homeschooled? nobody can force you to learn. i suggest buckling down, going to school, and doing the work they give you at school. you won't regret it.
