why would someone call you up after several months, and ask 'do you miss me?' why wouldn't they just say 'i miss you.' it is strange, he would call under private number every 15 minutes in one day. i would not answer. i finally answered and he was quiet and then said 'hi.' i hung up on him. he called again under private, i didn't answer. i then called him back, and said 'why are you calling me?' he said, 'do you miss me?' i said, 'why are you asking me this question?' why is he doing this to me? does he think it is funny?

He either really wants to see you or this is a big joke.

He's being a jackass. He misses some aspect of your relationship. Not necessarily a good part either. I had a friend whose ex did this to her. He would call and ask her the same question, not because he loved her and wanted her back, but because he wanted to mess with her head and emotions.

Some guys are insecure to the point where they want to believe every girl they've been with will forever be mooning over them. Just as women have problems seeing ex's move on at times, guys do too. However, it is from my experience that guys who do what you're describing, are the kind of guys who think they are the **** and want to prove it to themselves by establishing that the girls from the past still moon over them.

It's either this, or he's the kind of guy who is so oddly shy that he's scared to say he misses you, because you might say you don't miss him. If you do miss him, and you think he's one of these guys, call him and say, yes, I miss you and what we had... but it's over now. Give him a chance to be honest with you. If he can't be honest about missing you, or doesn't miss you, he's not worth the grief.

It's his way of being in control..change your number! and be honest and tell him you don't want to ever hear from him again.. unless you like the games he plays.
