As an LDS person I just want to say, I don't really care how many wives he had (some of the lists given you look just about right), I just care that people think we actually still practice polygamy today (yes there are some little radical fringe groups that still do) but the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints stopped that over a hundred years ago. Anyone found practicing that now, instantly gets excommunicated.

Emma was the name of Joseph Smith's wife, he married several other women (young girls actually) but then denied doing so in public, it was the young girls families that pulled him out of the jail and killed him for denying the marriages. Joseph Smith had one wife. Brigham Young on the other hand had 52 or 53 wives.
