First of all, there was no apple eating incident;
thats the incredible lie of the century at best.
The thought that God knows everything that you will do, or thats gonna happen is a common misconception, even among many christians.
The manuscripts are quite clear; God does not know what you will decide; What he does know is you, personally. You were with Him before you were born to the flesh. Its just like you might have a darn good idea of what your mom might do in a given situation - because you know her. Same deal here.
God knew Adam and Eve, and He was very, very specific in His instruction to them: Do not touch or partake from the tree of the knowledge of good/evil. Stay away from it.
Did you notice "do not touch it" is written?
That word "touch" in the manuscripts is actually "naga" - which means to "lie with", as in sexual intercourse.
But Eve was very innocent in the flesh; She was "beguiled", which means "wholly seduced";
I assume you see where this is going......
The account of Adam and Eve in the Garden is a rabbit hole that goes a whole lot deeper than many think......It is probably the single most important piece of information contained in the Scriptures. Go ahead, ask me why!

Good question. The answer has to do with God's power and his giving man free will. For example, you may be able to foresee the consequences of a certain action beforehand and say to a friend "If you continue eating like that and not exercising you will have a heart attack." The friend continues and has a heart attack. You did not cause it, although you knew from his family history, his lifestyle, and perhaps even some medical training, what would happen. Since God made us free moral agents, we can choose to obey or disobey. He informs us of the consequences of disobedience and the rewards of obedience. This way we make an informed choice. Deuteronomy 11:26-28 shows that this is the case. God put before Israel a choice. One way would lead to blessings, the other to a curse.

There wouldn't be a point.
God put us on this earth to grow spiritually. That means overcoming challenges and making the right decisions. If He did it all for us, nothing would be accomplished. It would be like getting someone else to go to the gym for you. You personally would not get stronger if someone else lifted weights for you. If God had stopped Adam and Eve, nothing would have been accomplished. Better that they learn from their mistakes and pass the nest test.
The Bible doesn't say much about what happened to them post-Eden, but it's probably safe to assume they learned their lesson.

You make an assumption about God that is not correct. He does not know "everything that is going to happen". He does have the ability to see future events, but that does not mean that he is always using that ability. Much like if you have the ability to sing- does that mean that you are constantly singing? Can't stop? No, God has the ability to choose to see future events or not.

If God placed Adam and Eve in a garden where there was no choice but to be obedient- because there was nothing they could do wrong, then they (and we) would not have had the free will to choose to live by God's guidance or not. By placing a tree in the garden and telling them not to eat from it, God gave them choice to follow his guidance or not. They chose not.

If God had stopped them, he would have been taking away the free will that he intended to establish by introducing the tree.

(Just a side note, we do not know what the fruit was that they ate. The bible does not say)

God could always see and give two things to man he created, His Blessing and His Curse. As there are two parts of the brain that make decisions, there is always a right choice and a wrong choice that a man can do to himself. That is the condition on the Free Will given to everyone. God told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowldege. That was a test for obedience and had they obeyed, perhaps instead of a curse, a blessing could have been given to them.
God never made a man to move the way He wanted him to move otherwise ther should be no Free Will. It is God's will to bless every right choice you make in your life. It is not His will to make you what you are, it is you who should make your own destiny. It is you who should make choice as to which road you should take in your journey through life. Even God's chosen Ones who made histories on earth have been allowed to make a choice on to how they will execute God's Command and you will find that many of them along the way had angered Him for making foolish decisions. So, your view of God as you want Him to be is not the God that created you.

Is it really that hard for people to understand God's way? How can you have a Heaven on earth if there is still evil? God knew what was going to happen. The battle of Armageddon is the reason for allowing this to happen. This gives his children the ability of choice. To chose their path and join Him in battle or fight Him in battle....

Satan will be destroyed during this battle which will allow the Lord to establish His Heaven on earth without evil.

If the 1st 2 people have been the two male, it would make the bible much extra absurd. God did not write the bible, adult adult males wrote the bible, and it replaced into all politically impressive for the day. With Adam and Eve we are all a gaggle or inbreds because it somewhat is, yet with Adam and Steve, umm yeah, except Steve had a womb, which negates the gay rights activists factor.

God does know everything. But humans still have free choice. Adam did not have to eat the 'apple' (It's actually only called fruit). God was tempting them with the serpent - His own creation, might I add. It was 'very good' not perfect. plus, it has no laws to live by, so eating the fruit was not wrong for the serpent. plus, he only played off of what was already there - temptation. He lied and told Eve it would be ok, and she wanted it. she lusted after it. and you know what happened next.

God doesnt know whats going to happen he knows whats going on, when Adam and Eve were eating from the tree he wanted to test them to see if they had faith in him, loyal to him, and love him and have respect for him.

He put them on earth for companionship. Jews don't believe that the Adam and Eve story is about original sin. My personal view of the story is that Adam and Eve stayed in their Father's garden until they were mature enough to go out in the world for themselves. The "tree" had all the knowledge they would ever need, but wisdom requires experience which cannot be gained in one fell swoop. When they got in a hurry, God decided it was time for them to experience the world in order to gain wisdom.

I think of it as a metaphor for the way we raise our own children to become self-sufficient. One must let them make mistakes in order to learn their lessons well. What would we be like if our ever wish were granted? I suspect it would be our worst nightmare!
