Why do Christians hate the Qu'ran because of its violence and the violence of Mohammed? Christianity is twiice as violent! Look at Christian history. Not only Catholics...all had witchhunts, bigotry, anti-semitism, racism, war etc. Your Bible is jsut as violent as the Koran. *Sigh* and I'm sure someone will make an ignorant statement about suicide bombers. THOSE ARE JUST RADICALS!!! Christian radicals were just as bad.

The truth is both religions preach peace as well as violence, and there actions reflect the truth.

A good question deserves a good answer. Jews and Christians both have a history of violence. The Old Testament is filled with murder, rape and violence. Christians are guilty for starting the Inquisition, the spread of Christianity through violence, the witch hunts, etc.

But here is the BIG difference between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Jews and Christians have stopped doing this. Outside of an occasional abortion clinic bomber or a skirmish in Palestine, Judaism and Christianity are for the most part peaceful. The Muslims, on the other hand, are still living by this archaic code. Muslims still want to spread Islam by force over the planet, killing all non believers.

You can say "Islam is religion of Love. Islam mean peace!" but we all know that the "peace" of Islam is achieved through the destruction of it's enemies.

How can you say that suicide bombers are "just radicals" when they are following Allah's instructions to destroy infidels? That's completely absurd. If the Jews decided to kill all the Palestinians with a single blow, would they be radicals? or would they be following God's divine command. Think about it. It's in Deuteronomy. Unbelievers should be killed. Every man, woman, child, etc. together with their cattle and livestock. The difference is that Jews have given up parts of their Bible in exchange for modernization and civilization. Muslims continue to live in the bloody dark ages.

Perhaps if there were any Muslims condemning the homicide bombers it would be a little easier to accept the claim that it is only some "radicals" that are killing. The fact is that many of the top religious leaders teach that it is an honor to die as a homicide bomber- they encourage the death and destruction.

There are a startling lack of any type of moderate "peace loving" Muslims. If they are out there, they are afraid to speak out, because they know that they will just turn up dead at the hands of their "peace loving" Muslim brothers.

Until there is a world-wide condemnation from the Muslim world of the senseless killing and homicide bombers, your cries of hypocrisy ring hollow, and with each passing day Islam proves itself to be a religion of hate and senseless murder.

You my friend must wake up and smell the ashes.

You are right to a point, both religions preach violence but both the Bible and the Quran say that you should not murder or only kill in self defense. The leaders of the religions have promoted this to where it is common place to kill a witch or pull of a car bomb. Jesus never supported killing and niehter did Muhammad, but both knew it is necesary at times.

Amen. Condemning the violence of one culture while denying the violence of your own culture is the last bastion of ignorance and fear. The "TRUE" religion of God does not condone violence, but peaceful coexistence. Whatever examples are given in scripture serve to illuminate the necessity for tolerance, forgiveness, and charity in thought, and action, and do not condone murder. Because people have become ignorant of their own scripture, they are incapable of knowing what constitutes a just and righteous war. Therefore, war is not justified.

I've tried pointing that out before, but people usually dont want to hear any of it. But thanks for trying to defend islam.....I respect you for that. Peace.

For the people who say why aren't there any muslims condemning these actions.....There are many islamic leaders who have. The country of Pakistan is supporting the US against the war of terrorism. Considering that there are almost 1.3 billion muslims in the world, saying that even most of them are extremist muslims is ridiculous. The only place you hear about these radical muslims is from the media. I bet none of these people have seen a muslim like that face to face. Believe it or not, most muslims just want to live their life in peace without getting involved in any kind of trouble. My parents wouldn't even let me wear hijab after 9/11 out of fear. Generalizing like this will make you no better than the radicals that generalize about the west.

The difference between Christianity and Islam is that Christianity is a faith based belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who was crucified and resurrected on the third day and not based on some former criminal who, for his own purposes, developed a religion which served his purpose and brought only wealth and riches to him. Mohamed died, was buried, and remains buried to this day. Jesus died, was buried, overcame death, was resurrected and sits at the right hand of God as the ONLY way one can get to Heaven. And there will NOT be "72 virgins" waiting for believers. I pray for your eternal soul as I do all who have been led astray by Satan through one of his false prophets.

Extremist Christians hate Muslims because their objective morality tells them they have to search out objectified focuses for irrational hate - they call it "evil". Were they to allow other, opposing philosophies to co-exist with them, it would bring a heretical level of doubt as to whether or not their "God" is the only correct one.

Basically any organization that promotes objective morality is poison to civilized society. This holds true for the military as well. While objective morality can keep them safe on the battlefield, where society has broken down, once they are down with their wars, they have nothing to tell them to stop using it once they return to civilization - then they expect respect for being racists under the guise of "protecting a free society."

Same irrational hate, different brand names.
