Your "cold" is probably not a cold but an allergy. If you can, see a doctor. If that's not possible I would try some antihistamine products which are readily available at any pharmacy ,over the counter. Your environment could be the cause,ie. dust, pets, plants or even the foods you eat. If you suspect the foods, I would first try eliminating dairy products for a week or so. If that does'nt work, try cutting out wheat. If your home is very dry, a hot steam vaporizer may help. Again, see a doctor if you can.

A cold doesn't last for 6 months.

What are your symtpoms?

Before assuming it's a cold, I would write down your symptoms and head to the doctor's. You're going to want to find out if it's allergies or something more severe.

Sounds like you have more than a cold. Colds only last a week or two at most. You need to go to a doctor to see if it is something more serious.

If it's just stuffiness in your nose and sinus area I would get my adnoids checked out. I had a friend who was always stuffy and couldn't breathe. She finally went to the doc and they said that her adnoids were larger than normal which blocked up her nasal passageways all the time. My little brother also has the same problem. My hubby has the same problem too and the doc told him that a bone was out of place in his upper nose area and that he'd need surgery to fix it. So it could be a number of things. The best thing to do is to go to the doctor. I'm sure it's nothing serious.
