I've got a really good friend that has always been a bit of a flirt. Usually it's cute, but lately she's been pouring it on (text messages, "I love you" myspace posts, flirty phone calls, etc). Then all communication, even the normal friend stuff, abruptly stops. What gives? We don't even live in the same time zone any more, so she couldn't have been expecting something, right?

What if she expects you to travel to her or the opposite? What if she has found had she actually has feelings for you? You should talk with her seriously about the whole situation. Next time she calls, discuss about it, but be nice! because you may hurt her if she is really in love with you and you reject her. Be nice be nice be nice. And if you think something is possible between the both of you, go ahead! It's bad to live with regrets.

Apparently she wants a long distance with you. If u like her then go for it! But if u like her more as a friend then tell her that. Call her up and say,"I've noticed that you've been kinda flirty and it's kinda weird. I like u more as a friend. So maybe you could back off because if we do start a relationship I don't want to jeopardize our friendship." Try that. And if she still doesn't back off, put distance between u and her. Stop answering her text messages and myspace comments. Eventually she'll get the message and back off.

dude, seriously, you are oblivious. she is crazy about you. i think she's bombarding you with stuff, seeing if you'll react. and since you didn't she's giving you the silent treatment, hoping you'll want her or something like that. either way you'll have to talk to her.
