While getting a tooth pulled.?

Question

Im getting 2 or 3 teeth pulled.
Will they give me anastega. (cant spell it)
or will they ask me, or will they just not?
If im under anastega, will i feel it my tooth getting pulled out?

Ask your dentist. They should explain it to you.

Quite a while ago I had three teeth pulled at once. They injected my gums with anesthesia. I think it was novacaine, but I'm not sure. They didn't really give me any options for what I wanted, but that was okay. The dentist knows best after all, and they will give you whatever pain medication will make you most comfortable.

My gums (pretty much my entire mouth) were completely numb. I did not feel the teeth being pulled at all. I only knew they were out when I saw the teeth outside of my mouth!

Keep in mind, this was over ten years ago. I'm sure dental technology has improved some, so I'm not completely sure what they will do for you, but they won't just go in and yank out a tooth without any sort of anesthesia.

Yes, you will be given anesthetic. There are different kinds of it, of which you can choose- in neither case will you feel it.

Local anesthetic- numbing the gums- or knocking you out.

You won't pain with local anesthetic, but you will feel the pulling. You can request to be put under if you're really nervous about it.

i had two teeth pulled while being awake. they inject u with a needle (doesnt hurt) and then pull ur teeth. i did it with out laughing gas. it doesnt hurt, but u feel a little "tug", thats all. i am going to get my wisdom teeth taken out soon, so i feel ur fear!

U wil get ur mouth numbed n u can feel it a bit but it dunt urt

well they uaually do....but win i got my tooth pulld it really ddnt hurt!!! it felt like a really hard pinch....2 me! but idk if it will 2 u! but yea....they will "usually giv it 2 u with out askin.....hope that helpd a lil bit
