i already have the speakers. it's 2 12's and an amp.

It depends on what you're trying to hookup, but it may easier to do it yourself. I had no experience with car audio and managed to pull off a complete install (amp, subs, deck) in about 3 hours. It can vary from car to car, depending on how easily accessible things are. If you do go it alone, however, make sure you have the right stuff: an appropriate amp wiring kit (they come in different wattage levels), the right wiring harness, etc.

what kinda car are you planning to install the subs in? let me know, i can hook you up for alot cheaper than most of the shops.

do it yourself.... run a good power wire and find a good place to ground and run the A/Vs from the head unit. you are already half way there anyway
