We do and He is pure without fault and has a perfect plan for each one of us. It is always us that botches the works up.

God is absolute truth- something that no man or woman will ever see, and it is in everything- that which no man or woman will ever touch. It leaves behind enough questions to confuse a person into a violent life of evil, and enough clues on how to live a happy, peaceful life.
God does not interfear. It does not praise nor does it punish. You get out of this life what you put into it. And when you die, your consiusness is a drop of rain rejoining its ocean. Children are born, and the cycle begins again.
Infinity is our greatest gift. The human race has the potential to either live on forever, or take this gift for granted.

If I can choose I would like a god which does talk to me while I am awake, sane, and sober. But this seems to be a very difficult thing. The gods people are talking about are always spiritual, dwelling in other spheres, talking mumbo-jumbo in dreams and trances, or only to certain chosen people. Not really universal, if you ask me.

She's got to be female, a Mother, have a sense of humour, deep wisdom, and laughter lines. She should be patient, but not endlessly and she should inspire respect and love in everyone.
