any idea about my tax refund?

i e-filed mine on the feb 21 2007 - i just call the irs the told they will procees mine until the march 14 2007

here is message i got from the irs is- my refund date of march 6 2007 was change to march 20 2007 due to processing delays

do anybody have a good idea why they change and when am i actully getting my refund by the mail only ?

You have to remember - millions of people are filing taxes at the same time. Processing delays will happen as more and more taxes are filed, and technical/computer problems may set them back even further. You should be able to change to have it set up as direct deposit, you'll get it a little quicker than the mail.

I really don't know why you have asked this same question over and over today---within the last couple of hours you have posted this same question at least 3x---even if you use another username we know it was you because it's the SAME information!!!! ;)

This is what I know~maybe it will help! They will update their IRS website on Wed, so you need to check back then and see if your status has changed or not. It may not change until next week. Obviously, if you did efile on Feb 21, then you should of had a return direct deposited on March 2, according to the IRS efile refund chart. Obviously, they had to review yours which resulted in processing delays. Now you say that they are mailing a check to you instead, right? Well, when they do that instead of direct deposit, it is because they could not get your direct deposit to go through. Maybe you gave them a wrong account number or routing number...even if only 1 digit is off it will not go through and it will bounce back to the IRS. Then they will mail you a check instead. So the next time you check the website, it may tell you the day that they are going to mail your check--hopefully!

Okay...I hope this gave you a little more info. I tried to "read between the lines" to figure out exactly what you may be asking, so I hope I got it right!
