The alternative is that they could put you in a isolated room at birth with a feeding tube and let you out after 21 years....now which is more cruel.

'confirmation' is just a meaningless ritual, so you don't need to be unconfirmed. People can force you to act in certain ways, but not to make you believe anything. You just happen to be smarter than most people around you.
I know how difficult it is to be a teenager and have your life controlled by adults - but in a short time you'll be able to live life the way you want it, free of any horrible gods. It does get better, believe me. (it's a shame you don't let people email you, but never mind really)
And do read The God Delusion and Letter to a Christian Nation.

It's a label that someone else tacked onto you... labels are concepts and only have whatever value you let them have. I was baptized and confirmed in the Byzantine Catholic Rites as a baby (since both are done at the same time) and forced to do 1st Holy Communion too, even though I believed NOT ONE WHIT of what I was forced to pay lip service to.... I'm now Buddhist. Goes to show you what good labels and concepts are worth.

I am Catholic, and am sorry you're having these difficulties. However, as long as you're living under your parents' roof, they can bring you up in whatever religion they see fit. Whether one agrees with it or not, that's the law. However, you'll soon be old enough to leave home, and at that point, you can openly exercise whatever faith (or non-faith) you like. As far as getting "unconfirmed", I don't know that it's ritually possible, and even if it were, why waste your time? If you don't believe, then you don't believe. It's that simple.

You're right. You shouldn't be forced to do it. And I think it's bad that catholics (and some other people) baptize babies....it's not like they know whats going on...
Also, your confirmation was pretty much a fake. I don't think it needs any "unconfirmation".
But know this. God exists whether you believe in Him or not. I think you were brought up in a way that you weren't fully exposed to Christ's love. I'll pray for you. But no one can force you. Not even God forces you....that's why we have free will.
God bless you.

You can't really be unconfirmed. It doesn't really MEAN anything if you don't believe in it. (It's not a legal issue or anything.) Don't worry about what happened in the past. You're free now to live as you believe. Best wishes to you.

All young people are stubborn and headstrong and hate to be told they have to follow any kind of rules. I know you don't like it but, later on when things get crazy in life you will thank your parents for giving you something you can lean on. Things are about to get crazy very soon now and you will see what I am talking about. Also Satan just loves to corrupt Catholics because they truly receive the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Christ and if he can make you desecrate this Sacrament he is happy because he knows that he is hurting Jesus and you because he hates you.

I agree it was not fair on the part of your parents and school to force you. I believe it is not compulsory to practice any religion where you live so let bygones be bygones and live your life from now on as you see fit.
