I am pretty sure the only way to remove a birthmark is to have cosmetic surgery. It could cost from $400 and up depending on what method is used. It's interesting that your friend still has his Mongolian spot. Usually they disappear after age 2 and if not they are usually much less noticable. I can understand with something being on his forehead and being so noticable that this could be distressing. Check out the link to find out more information about cosmetic surgery. It sure is nice of you to be willing to help your friend out. Even if he feels depressed to have this birthmark, he should feel lucky to have a friend like you. Good luck and I hope your buddy gets the results he is hoping for.
