* An idea is to show how the scholarship could help you achieve your future dreams once you have graduated from college with your degree.
* Show how you could help others through your college degree with an emphasis towards the group's focus and show how you match their focus.
* Be creative on how you would spend it. It sometimes works.

Go to you local Library and check out book on scholarships, that's what I did

Maybe one reason is because you help your community doing some kind of work to help your community without being paid..if you are in high school, another reason could be financial needs, outstanding grades ...It depends on the type of scholarship you are applying for.....
