Use a sticky pad they humanely stick to them and then humanely die.

First, those sticky traps are NOT humane. If you catch the poor mouse you'll either have to leave it stuck, to die of starvation or cat attack (not humane!) or peel it off yourself, which let me tell you from experience, is horrific. The mouse is left bleeding and wounded. The bucket idea from a previous answerer is supposed to work, or you can buy little box traps. Just put a tasty treat inside and put them where the mouse might be and when they go in to get the food a door falls down and traps them. You can take them back outside and let them loose somewhere safe.

Most stores sell humane traps along side the mean, killing traps. But...if the cat gets to it first again, pick the cat up (the scruff is the best way in this situation), take it to the open door or go right outside, then make him let go. If the cat eats it, don't get too upset...it's his instinct and the circle of life. Better that way than a snap trap!

Ok there are these mouse traps that are pretty big, you can find them in any hardware store, they are designed to catch the mouse alive, they are shaped like a steel box and you place some peanut butter or cheese in them, soon enough you will have a live mouse and you can take him anywhere you want to let him go.

you can buy Humane mouse traps from pet shops, and petfood warehouses which are basically a rectangular plastic tube with a trigger and a trapdoor at the entrance, you bait as normal then set in an area like the larder/kitchen etc. when the mouse enters the tube to get the bait it pushes the trigger and the door slams behind it locking it untill you come to remove.

take a cardboard box and put a bit of peanut butter in it or you can go to a hardware store and get a humane trap and put some peanut butter in it. mice love peanut butter because it is so high in fat and bad for them in large amounts. by the way make sure to praise not punish your cat for bringing you mice. if you punish the cat it wont catch the rodents that come into the house unwanted.

Don't use the sticky pads.. They aren't humane at all.. We tried them and after hearing a struggle under the counter, when I went to look, there was sticky paper, no mouse, but all 4 of his feet still stuck to the sticky paper. You can buy mouse traps that don't kill the mice, then you can release them back outside.

You can buy sticky traps from the dollar store or some place like wal mart. the mouse stays alive but gets really stuck to the trap. it might lose some ahir when you pull it off the trap but otherwise is unharmed usually for you to let it go again outside.

Take a bucket and a little ramp. make a rickety bridge across the bucket and put food on it. The idea is that he will go to get the food and fall into the bucket.

Peanut butter in a humane cage. They walk in and can't walk out. Mice love peanut butter, its why they allow so much of it in self product. They can't keep em out.
