ok how about this. The older you get the less active you get and you will not burn calories as fast. therefore you will gain weight slowly at first and faster if you get pregnant. than if your lucky enough not to get post partum depression you will still be fat and putting stress on your heart for stroke and possible diabetes. and then the dr will need to chop your foot off and you will probably die before your 60. OR get out and go for a walk every day and eat some fruit instead of chips and live to be 90. See the difference? GOOD

I was kind of chubby in high school and then sometime during my sophomore year in college I started to eat less and exercise. I quit chocolate, chips, ice cream, fried food, and stopped eating past 6pm. I joined Bally's and started doing 30 minutes on the eliptical trainer and slowly transferred myself to the treadmill. I couldn't run for that long in the beginning, but I kept challenging myself and eventually was able to run 3 miles almost every day. I went down from a size 7-9 to a size 2 and received compliments left and right and had all these guys come up to me.
...Then I met my bf and gained back 20 pounds. And now I'm on the same boat as you are. After we met, I started eating fast food and eating late and here I am now 4 1/2years later and 20 pounds heavier.
Right now I have a gym membership at 24 hr fitness, but I hardly go. Sometimes I go three to four times a week and some weeks I'm too lazy to even go once. I'm so sick of myself right now so starting tomorrow I'm going to do an hour on the eliptical trainer every day and start eating healthier.
If you don't have a gym membership, you can get some billy blanks' tae bo dvds. (http://www.billyblanks.com/) I used to exercise to his videos whenever I felt lazy to drive to the gym. Or you can go jogging/running/walking at the park.
Just exercise 30 minutes or more a day and don't eat ANYTHING (dinner) past 5 or 6pm. Water and unsweetened tea should be no problem.
I hope this motivates you to get into shape! Good luck!

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.
Good LUCK!

alarm goes off... feet go on floor... workout clothes go on body... brush teeth...sip some gatorade or coffee... and just do it! Like a robot. After a few times, you will be used to working out. I run three times a week at 4:30 am, and do yoga three nights a week at 8:00 pm. I started in July and I'm happy I did.
Good luck!

Print this out and hang it on the refrigerator door. If it doesn't help give you incentive I don't know what will!
