I live in Michigan and I think the best seats are higher up in about turn 4 b/c you can see a heck of alot more of the race there than anywhere else in the stands.

Since MI speedway is the same set up as California Speedway ( Both built by Penske) only difference is there is lakes around MI the best seat are under the Sky Boxes at the Start/finish lines at the top of the grandstands you get the whole view of the track from there.

The best seats for any NASCAR race are in my living room. Watch the race on TV. No crowds, no traffic, the beer is colder as well as cheaper and the lines to the bathroom are shorter. But if you must go, there isn't a bad seat at MIS. Go early in the week (Wednesday or Thursday) and enjoy the festivities. Camping in the infield is sort of like going to Woodstock, but without the music. Have fun!

The best seats at MIS were for the Champ Car races that were held there.

I don't know if there are any more races held there or not...........
