Every morning I wake up and the inside of my mouth is covered in a gross film, almost like a goo. It covers my entire mouth, and covers my teeth, sometimes lips. Its really disgusting!

Does this have anything to do with the fact that I can't breath through my nose? Its always plugged, but I don't think its with mucus... I blow and nothing comes out.

Ugh what a mess I'm in :P

Try using mouthwash before you go to bed. Go to the doctor to see if you have a serious problem with your sinuses. (It might be something simple)

i get this, normally when I get a cold. It's just phlegm (snot in ure throat) than as you breath through ure mouth little bits will come up thru the water vapor. This may not seem alot but think about that over 8 hours of sleeping, that's alot of snot. In the morning just wipe your mouth with a tissue or something.

I'd see a doctor about your nose thing too. My cousin has a similar problem. He had asthma so couldn't breath properly anyway but now it is cleared but still has the problem. I figure that it is just that you sniff so alot of mucus builds up in the back of your throat, which then backs up into your nasal passages. If you hock up this phlegm and (I know it's not very pleasant) spit it out then you should feel clearer. Also, try using nasal spray or vapor rub/oil or something. This may help.

A good way to clear your nose when you sleep is to get it so that you can breath just a little through your nose and put vapor rub on your back, throat, chest and, if your finding it VERY difficult to breath, on the skin between your nose and top lip. try and then breath through your nose and this should, in time (anywhere between 15minutes-2/3 hours) should clear your nose.

Hope I help

Yes it is because you can't breathe through your nose. I had this problem for years until I got a nose job to correct it.
Up until then i would use nasal spray to clear my passage before bed helping me sleep and helping my dry mouth

It is because you are breathing through your mouth while sleeping. This allows natural secretions (saliva and mucus) to dry, creating the film. Lack of moisture at night (or day) can lead to tooth decay and gum disease. Your diet and water intake has nothing to do with mouth-breathing at night. Please see your doctor and/or dentist soon to determine what is causing you to breath through you mouth at night. There are many causes. Best of luck.

It is probably mucus becasue mucus when it goes in your mouth empties your nose.

Yuck that sounds disgusting..I feel sorry for your sleeping mate!
Maybe it's poor oral hygiene or sleeping with your mouth open???

Brush your teeth at night if you aren't already.
