Global warming is a horrible distortion of the truth and way over hyped. Evolution is the devil's way of convincing people who don't want to believe in God that there is no God. And we derived from toxic soup that rained on rocks for millions of years and magically there appeared two ameobas that kept mating and eventually it turned into a frog, or maybe a fish or maybe a frish or a fisog. Then they jumped onto land and turned into a bird and somehow we some formed legs and became a human others became elephants. And magically it happened twice so there could be offspring. Personally it takes more religious faith to believe in evolution. I believe in something that makes sense and has never been disproved and that is that God is the Creator of the universe. Jesus is His son that died on the Cross for our sins to redeem us. When we receive His free gift of salvation we become HIs child. It is an awesome relationship.

More on global warming:
Global Warming is a trojan horse for Socialism, wake up Americans. Global warming is at the fore front because politicians found how to use a new platform to get re-elected. The world leaders use it because they found ways to make money at it. This is a made up problem just like Global Cooling in the 1970's. Wake up people. I agree we need to be more efficient with our resources, and we should fine and jail companies who are dumping into our rivers maliciously. I want to stop the raiforest destruction, but to say that global warming is a serious man made issue and we need to destroy the American economy and bow down to the rest of the world certainly does not float my boat. Follow the money on this one and you will see that it is all for political gain and grant money for those scientists who profit off of the government if global warming stays at the front of the issues. Look deep into the Keoto (sp?) Treaty, first of all they took jets to a non-central resort location. Not very environmentally concious. THen in the parameters of the treaty they have a clause that makes it so you can buy or sell polution credits. This is all about shifting wealth and breaking down the United States. This is painfully obvious, just look at peoples agenda. The earth's mean temperature has risen .6 degrees C in the past 125 years. Greenland's icecaps have gotten colder in the past 10 years. The Scientists who do not gain anything on their posisition will tell you that the earth has a natural progression and this is what we are seeing. The UN report is made up of POLITICIANS not a good spread of scientists. THere are as many or more scientists who believe that man in NOT the reason and it is over hyped, but their voice is not heard in the LIberal Mainstream Media. This issue is 99% political, and an attempt to make the USA a socialist nation, and eventually communisim. WAKE UP AMERICA, IT IS TIME TO BE AMERICANS. FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE. STOP THE LIES

Global warming is a liberal religion. It is something Al Gore got started as a political ploy and has grown into a cult religion. We all want to have clean air to breath and clean water to drink. It is hard for me to listen to Al Gore when you can hear the whine of jet engines in the back ground of his private jet. Sort of like listening to a preacher preach on adultery while having an affair with his secretary.
It doesn't really mater if we evolved from some other creature or not. If we did evolve some greater being had to create that being. I don't think the question should be if we believe in God or not. Without believing everyone with any knowledge know we exists. Therefore we had to be created. The real question is do we believe in Jesus. To believe in Jesus and the bible we have to believe in the resurrection.

You don't have to choose between evolution and a creator.

You can believe in a creator who watches over us today and also evolution. Maybe a creator started the whole thing with a big bang and evolution was a tool. There's no scientific evidence either for or against that, so you can believe that and believe all of science, including evolution.

Here's a scientist and a Christian who thinks exactly that:

http://www.reasons.org

All you need reject is some Anglican Bishop who, 600 years ago, said his interpretation of the Bible was that the Earth was created with all life on it 6000 years ago.

That doesn't damage most people's religion. And there is overwhelming scientific evidence that he was wrong. Even most scientists with questions about the exact details of evolution don't think the Earth is 6000 years old.

The idea that 99% of the climatologists in the world are wrong, neglect obvious natural causes as possibilities, fake the data to get money, or are engaged in a massive environmentalist conspiracy, seems improbable to me. So I believe global warming is real.

Here are some Christians who believe that, also:

Global warming need not be a conspiracy nor real. Scientific evidence points to a global warming; moreover, judging from where it is happening, it points to an industrial cause.

We didn't evolve from monkeys. We and monkeys evolved from the same creature.

Global Warming is ral and there are plenty of scientific studies that prove this to be true. As for evolution or creation, it's your choice. Personally I evolved from ape like creatures, NOT monkeys. We are believed to have a common ancestor though. There is evidence that is said this is true. When it comes to creation your evidence is the bible if you choose to believe it. In the end it's your choice on what you believe.

HELLO

I am a christian and as such, I fight global warming because one of the commandement tells me:

DOU SHOULD NOT KILL

And global warming is likely according to the study released byChristian Aid to kill 185 million of people if nothing is done.
I have no right to live my kind of life if it endangers the survival of other people at the other end of the planet... Indirect killing also counts for us... just like guns don´t kill people... people do...
Not global warming will kill people... people will since it is man-made...

I don´t deny global warming even if some special group of interest do it...

DOU SHOULD NOT LIE

Only in the US Global Warming is denied by some people close to oil interests or blind conservative backgrounds. And they are paying scientist to deny what is not a theory, but a phenomenon

DOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS

And here´s an other one... by using the resources at the rate we do, we don´t leave the same chances for the next generations while Jesus told us clearly to share (see the coat).

DOU SHOULD NOT STEAL

Yes seriously, why should my generation own coal resources and the right to doom the earth and live nothing to the next one... isn´t that stealing their future ? If everybody in the world consumed (inefficiently) like the US, 7 planets would be needed.

Then for the global warming deniers who are close to the some christian churches... I would take care of that:

YOU SHOULD NOTE MAKE WRONGFUL USE OF THE NAME OF GOD.

And since energy is getting scare, just trying to get control of other people´s resources instead of real solutions at home is not an option for:

YOU SHALL NOT COVET YOUR NEIGHBOR´S HOUSE

Global warming is, from what i understand, a very real and chronic threat to the continued existence of everything on this planet.

Evolution, is, likewise, a very real and completely undisputable fact or truth. There is way too much evidence for both of these to be just glib conspiracies or myths!

Have a look at some of the incredible amount of evidence for evolution, then compare it to what the too-simple christians are going on about now - this so-called "intelligent design". What a complete load of bollocks!

As far as religion goes...well...the people who've answered you with religion as their core are entiltled to their opinions and so are you...but do try to be objective about it all!!! I'm a Buddhist which, to me, seems the most peaceful and responsible set of philosophies that I've ever had the fortune to discover! Buddhism allows for evolution, global warming, the existence of both Jesus and Mohammed, the ability for us to change ourselves and in doing so change others for the better and still goes on to say that we are a great race of beings who can all achieve a state of nirvana, or pure bliss! what other set of religious philosophies can offer that?

btw...we're not completely stuffed yet. there are plenty of solutions to the mess that we've created for ourselves. It starts within your own heart. lose the hate, greed and delusion and everything will become peaceful as a consequence. if we all did this, everything will be fine. but we ALL have to undergo this transformation. everyone. and, for mine, it's really quite simple!!! hard to believe that the simple acts of loving kindness and compassion for all will save this planet, but i really believe that this is probably THE way!

Love and Light,

Jarrah

Read the Bible and read all the scientific papers with a critical eye and ask people if you have questions. See what YOU think about it.
(I am a Christian, after doing this and deciding that God seems to have a better idea about what is going on than a lot of scientists.)
I happen to agree with you, I think that the earth gets warm sometimes and cold sometimes. It doesn't mean that humans need to kill ourselves off to save the world! When Christ comes back, we can ask God all the questions that we want, whoohoo!

Hold on global warming enthusiasts. New evidence is causing some red faces on the global warming side.

They may have to change Al Gores Academy Award from best documentary to best fictional account.

Developing!

Global warming is real. humans are the main cause of global warming. humans emit 24 billion tons of CO2 every year. as for evolution, i personaly belive evolution. there is just to much evidence to me to belive that we cam out of nowhere. i am christian, but that is the one thing i don't agree with. (just because i'm christian doesn't mean i can't belive in evolution)
