i have a crush on this guy and so does this other girl!! help?

i saw this new guy on my class and i thought he was finebut i realized this girl in my class does too.i was in class today on my computer and he sat on a computer 10 feet away from me ,10 minutes later that girl came in class and i noticed her looking around and she saw the guy and sat next to him .i got so mad,we dont have assigned chairs,but shes been trying pretty hard to get him to notice her like dressing up and sitting by him.Im not ugly but i feel like he wont like me because im hispanic and he is white the girl is white too.WHAT CAN I DO ADVICE PLEASE

well, if he's some racist dude, you should forget him.

i don't know. my guy friends say they like a girl who takes initiative. my suggestion: ask him, or drop him. i remember dropping a crush who i really liked b/c my bff (we began to run totally different clicks a year later so not really forever) liked him too
