I know this may sound really silly, but I just want to here from other peoples point of views?

Could someone explain to me what it means when your boyfriend doesnt text back?Does it mean he cant be bothered?Hes busy?.. Can someone please just help me out here.I dont want to be called paranoid,insane,or someone clingy.I just want to understand why sometimes he doesnt leave me alone and sometimes he doesnt text.Do men not find texting as important as women?Do they not no what to say?.I know it doesnt seem like a big thing I'd just like to know a few opinions . Thanks xx

Yeh were fine in person, i sometimes dont see him in the week and like to just here from him, i dont mean to sound silly I just find him confusing sometimes.x

& I bet your girfriend feels rightfully treated.If you read what every woman who replied wrote it suggests that maybe texting is more important than you think.Yeah I call him? and ?. Im talking about texting him not calling

He's probably just busy...I mean he isn't going to sit by his phone all day and wait for you to text him. But the only way to be really sure is just to ask him...

look, i can't speak up for other guys, but why would texting be considered important? if someone text's me, i'll check it when i have the time. if it was important, then they would have done something most people would describe as "CALLING AND USING YOUR VOICE".

texting is something you do when you have the time, i mean first you have to navigate to the option to open the message, read it, and then type a message back, where as if you would actually CALL HIM, he could answer anything you'd like to ask and be able to do other things at the same time.

the fact that you're worried about this one thing (just for your info) kinda screams/blares out that your *are* in fact clingy and somewhat paranoid. give the guy some space, gal.

sometimes i freak out too if my boyfriend doesnt text me back, when i think he should be. but honestly its nothign to freak out about, it might mean that he is busy and cant text you back right away, or maybe he'd prefer to give you a call and actaully hear your voice as opposed to sending a text. there could be tons of reasons, but its not like he is hiding anything or is ignoring you. don't freak out on him cause then you may sound crazy to him, just let it go and everything will be okay.


if he always ignores your texts, just bring it up in conversation one time, like "hey i always send you texts and you never send me them back, why?" he'll probably give a really short answer like "i dont know, texting is dumb", which is a typical guy response and then jsut leave it alone, he'll hopefully get the hint that you want him to text you back.

Yes, they are simply busy. Nearly 100% of the time when I text my boyfriend, he's off doing some school project without his phone so that he won't get sidetracked. Then he calls me when he's finished apologizing and explaining. The other seldom times he doesn't answer is when he's out with his family, and his parents don't allow him to take phone calls or texts. They're big family people...:) But yeah, don't worry about it unless you've had previous trust problems. If not, you've nothing to be concerned over! <3

Talking is less complicated than to type. I think of two reasons why he doesn't text. One is some cell carriers charge for the text in addition to the regular rate; another is it is easier to say the words than type them and likely to make typos. Typos that come up as a not intended word, may be taken the wrong way. You would be better off knowing the reason by talking with him.

It's common courtesy to reply back with a text. However I have friends who do not hold this same value and yes it hurts. These same people are generally late for everything, they have messy cars, and never enough money to cover their part of the bill. I have mentioned this bothers me ... however it falls on deaf ears. Well, when he's not texting to you, it may be because he's busy with something that takes his attention to somewhere else. And when he text to you alot, that means he miss you alot in order for a GUY to text back alot!! Guys tends to have a habit to text small words back. And us girls likes to pour every word.... for example, girls would ask more than one question but the guy would only respond to the first question... YEP!!!

im in the exact same position! i often wonder if he just doesnt like me anymore, but then he doesnt leave me alone the next day. i think us girls are just sensitive to the little details, but they are really care free and dont realize how it makes you feel. also, my boyfriend has to pay for his own texts so he tries not to. dont keep texting..its obsessive. give him space.

Maybe he's busy, or not in the mood, I'm sure there's plenty of reasons. But whatever happens time will tell if he's interested or not, just enjoy your time and have fun with your friends.
