We need each other as believers, and God has given us to each other. The Bible says the Church (by which it means all who have truly put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ) is like a human body. Just as a body is made up of many parts that are all essential and all have a function, so too is the Church. The Bible says, "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it" (1 Corinthians 12:27). Ask God to lead you to a church fellowship of believers with whom you won't just feel comfortable, but where you can grow in your relationship to Christ. Seek a church where the Bible is preached and taught, and where you also will have other opportunities to grow spiritually (such as small group Bible studies). Look also for a church where you can serve Christ in some way—the choir, community outreach, etc.
Remember: God's goal for you isn't just that you will "enjoy" church, but that you will be challenged to grow in your faith and become more like Christ. Let the Bible's command become your goal: "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).

The Bible never says exactly, "you have to attend church services." However, the verse that is most often used in reference to church attendance is Hebrews 10:25

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

So here the bible explicitly states that gathering with other gathered Christians is very important and essential to the Christian faith. Being a Christian, I hope you realize is more then just a relationship between you and God. A Christian is about being a part of a community. A community of believers, known in the Bible as the body of Christ. When you become a Christian you are added to that universal body. And you are an essential part of that body and it is important that you are active part of that body. The best way to be connected with the spiritual body of Christ is to attend a local congregation of believers.

No. The bibles says its good to get together to worship, but it doesn't say a thing about going to church. The bible says to honor the sabbath and keep it holy, and many churches will tell you that means going to church, but that seems very unlikely to me considering they didn't have church when the commandments were written.

NO! In the Bible the church IS the people NOT the building. Now, though, it DID say something about fellowshipping with other believers.

Going to church, and going there on Sunday, is yet another example of something that is not in the Bible that Christians think is and do accordingly.

This is the verse that many say instructs Christians to attend church: Heb 10:25 - "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

As you can see, it's open to interpretation, & it seems to me that there's more emphasis on Christians exhorting one another (which means to urge a person strongly), than on gathering together.

Technically, going to church is assembling ourselves with other believers. Fellowship is an integral part of the Christian life.
