My mate says that his dog is mans best friend. It fouls the carpet so I dread to think what his enemies would do.

Your friends dog just left him a present in repayment for not taking him out in the bad weather to do his business.
Joking aside, who on the planet is as faithful, forgiving, loving and as funny as our dogs.
When my dog I had for fifteen years died, I was amazed at the great feeling of loss I felt. I realised she had accompanied me through a great many changes in my life, and was the only thing in my life that had remained 'the same'. She was always there no matter what.
I have two others of the same breed, mother and now her pup. Amazingly different characters. They are my best friends. Never a day goes by when I don't appreciate the love they give to me. They deserve the best we can give them.
Even allowing them the occasional 'accident' on the carpet.

dogs are great if well trained its not fair on the dog if its not my 15 week old puppy is house trained most of the time still get the very occasional accident he can sit ,down and stay and also speak on command their really is no excuse for not training it properly and he may have lots more social problems later dogs need regular exercise play times and regular feeding and water they need rout ten just like human kids you don't have to be harsh with your training just 10 Min's a day and lots of praise and rewards i love my two to bits thay make great devoted pets if you put the time in

I have three dogs that sleep in my room at night. They have only messed up the carpet one time and it was my fault, because I left them in there to long. The one that did it, had covered it up and acted embarrassed. I felt so sorry for him, I couldn't be mad.
They are my best friends. They are always there for me and are always happy to see me. I look forward to see them when I get home from work. And yes I do have human friends too! But no one is as loyal to you as your dog.

My three dogs are my best friends, yes they had to be house trained when they were puppies and now all three sleep in my bedroom all night and I like them near me, I know they would risk there lives for me if I were in trouble, they never answer back and when I'm upset or in a bed mood they seem to understand and never judge me and they are always pleased to see me and make a fuss of me when I come home. How many friends would always do all these things foer you unconditionally.

Well it won't foul the carpet if you house train it!
The kindest thing you can do to a dog is treat it like a dog, not like a human.............their brains are marginally smaller than ours after all!
But they do make great companions!

Mans best friend is a dog! If our best friends are not trained by man,then hence soiled carpets.May be it just doesn't bother him and he takes it in his stride.A mans home is his castle after all lol!

Dogs might do things we would prefer them not to do but they never deliberately set out to annoy.
They are never deceitful, don't care if we look a mess or forget to shower, they forgive us for yelling at them , never argue or disagree and never reject us.
Friends (and enemies) come and go but your dog will stick with you all his life.
