There's no magic treatment out there. Female hair loss is usually due to depression/stress or lack of proper nutrition. (i.e. the hair and skin reflect the health of kidneys and liver, respectively.) You can try to eliminate the root problem by:

A) incorporating more fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins into your diet (eliminating consumption of excess salty, caffeinated and sugary foods.) Try eating fish; it contains omega-3 which noticeably helps nourish hair and skin.

B) managing stress more effectively (meditation, yoga, or other exercise). I found that stress was my number one cause of hair shedding. Age range 19-21 (usually coincidental with college years) has been observed to be a period of maximum hair loss in young women.

Dying/external hair treatments can also be a problem, but shouldn't be the main focus. If you fix the root cause internally, then a little dying and processing shouldn't matter that much. And remember, once the shedding stops, hair will always grow back. Good luck!

seriously i've heard of all those different products, but for now all i know is that you can reduce the heat and styling aids that you are using and start condition more, use rollers if you want curls...limit your usage of the other stuff.
