Tribble: I'm not talking about light with a wavelength longer than red but shorter than microwave (Infrared as you call it). I'm taling about INFRASOUND. At least google it before you open your mouth.

Church organs were the original subwoofers.
On a good pipe organ, the opening notes of Also Sprach Zarathustra are felt rather than heard. Not even in heavy metal is there anything quite like it.

Hmm ... that is strange because when the church first started 2000 years ago, there was no such thing as an organ and people really rolled around on the floor and spoke in tongues, even more so than today.

for sure it relies upon on the known of the organ, the means of the guy taking section in, and the piece being performed. like the bagpipes, it might want to correctly be impressive and uplifting or torture to the ears. IF the guy is prevalent with a thanks to play, and the organ and music are respectable, then i hit upon it impressive. yet a unfavorable-high quality organ with a pathetic participant attempting to exhibit off by taking section in a chunk it truly is previous their skills is merely terrible. I omit different rock bands of the 60's who integrated organ into their music, like Procol Harum, Iron Butterfly and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Bless em.
