You'll only be hauled to the psych ward if you present a danger to yourself or others. You can babble all you want; no one will commit you.

If it was just over the phone, people would be annoyed but probably wouldnt act unless it got to be a real problem. It sure would get rid of telemarketers though.

oddly enough, if you do that in a business, you get hauled away.
if the same person does the same thing in church, he's "touched by god".
