Probably yes. But it has little to do with fruit, vegetables, and water. Ultimately weight loss requires a negative calorie balance. Burn more than you eat. Water has no cals so substituting it for sodas will save lots of calories. However with such a restrictive diet you will lose mostly water. It will all come back. To lose weight stick to a 1-2 lb. per week loss. To do this exercise 30-40 minutes and reduce your current intake by 250-500 calories. If sodas are your thing cut 2 out a day. Leave a bit of food on your plate. In most cases that would be sufficient

You can Lose 9 lbs every 11 days after you know these facts:

Low Fat Foods DON'T WORK.........
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

Low Calorie Diets DON'T WORK........
You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt --- known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

Low Carb Plans DON'T WORK.......
You'll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.

In fact, the food that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT!!!

Most probably, as long as that is ONLY the kind of things you're eating. Remember, you're eating fruit and vegetables, not "Well, french fries aren' t meat, so I can have as many as I wish." or "Well, I felt kind of hungry, so I thought I'd have a pint of ice cream..." or "I can't do a thing without my chocolate, so I had a whole box of chocoholic decadence orgy...It's low-fat, right?"

A better question is "Could I lose ten pounds in a week, if I ate only fruit and vegetables, without sugar, refined starches, or fats?"

Yes.

Are you trying to lose for some special event, or are you just a little impatient? If the latter, please consider methods you can continue throughout your life- not just for a week.

To answer your question, though, yes... I think you would lose weight if that's what you did for a week as long as you eat frequently to keep your metabolism normalized. If you go too long without food, your metabolism will slow to prepare for starvation mode- otherwise known as ketosis...

yes, if it was only for a week. You need to have protein and fat in your diet. Prepare to be bloated if you are not used to eating that many fruits and veggies.

No. You'd be starving yourself. You're body would hang on to every single calorie and and ounce of stored fat you've got.

You cannot lose weight like that.

PROTEIN!
