Sometimes, there is a slight frizz. I want a shampoo that can make my hair shiny, sleek (some products I use to reduce the volume of my hair make it totally flat, so not something that would make my hair lifeless), and not too frizzy. Please recommend anything you can. Thanks for your help.

I never expected to get so many responses! Thanks so much guys. And as for the straighteners, I have one, and I really don't have a problem with my wavy hair.

I have the same problem! I went to get my hair cut in the salon and they recommended a really good shampoo and conditioner called S Factor, its a branch of Tigi. Its really really good, makes hair both shiny and sleek. Its quite pricey..comes upto about £27 for both! But worth every penny :) xox

The new sun silk line up is great--- I have the same problem you need the purple bottle also getting a straightening balm would be great something in a cream form--- so it holds the hair down but w/o making it greasy

If you have a Sephora where you live, go in & get Johnathon Anton's (hope I spelled that right) line. Sounds like you really need his product called dirt. It makes your hair like it is the day after you shampoo - but clean & fresh. Other retailers might carry it as well.

I LOVE Sleek Look by Matrix, orange bottles found at your salon. They also have a silker, but I don't find I need it, the shampoo and conditioner work great alone for me.

I have the same kind of hair. I agree Sunsilk works great. I've been using the blue line. Use a leave-in treatment afterwords. That should do the trick.
