tear it all apart in one single hit? Your heart, how does it hurt less?

It hurts both ways and I suppose one single tear is easier to get over. We make ourselves suffer as it's torn chunk by chunk because we can make-believe it's not happening and we fear the one big tear. BUT in reality although that one big teat may shock us it is easier to deal with. (get over it because it is done rather than heal a little only to have more torn away)

i think of it like tearing of a scab it stings a little more in one clean hit but it doesnt last as long or tear it off slowly and it hurts and it could get infected lol

Laser surgery. Fast, precise and allows you to heal with minimal scarring.

Breaking up IS "open heart surgery".

Grapefruit spoon or a sclpel...I'd want the scalpel.

ah, the quickest and easiest way to cut is with a VERY sharp knife, it's bleeds less, hurts less, and heals faster. One singel swing is by far the best way!

Neither! It hurts less with the old mosquito method. You don't even feel it is being drained little by little!
