The American College of Sports Medicine recommends 20-30% of your calories come from fat (less than 10% of that from saturated fats). At 1500 calories per day that's 300-450 calories or 33-50 grams of fat. At 2000 calories it's 400-600 calories or 44-67 grams of fat.

On the back of my potato chips bag it states that the 13 grams of fat are 20% of the daily value for a 2000 calorie diet. Therefore the total daily value would be 65 grams of fat for a 2000 calorie diet. If you are wanting a 1500 calorie diet it would be 49 grams of fat.

Your diet should consist of no less than 20% calories from fat, and no more than 30% calories from fat. This means that you should be eating 33-66 grams of fat. Make sure its healthy, unsaturated fats, though :)
