They just think it`s special for a guy to call them, or they`re making themselves think you like them to boost their self-esteem.

Because if it was only concerning school we would assume that you would call a guy one of your guy friends and if you are calling us you must like us or why not call the guys.

It all depends how you aproach the girls. You might be giving the wrong signal. That's why they are assuming you like them. Just back if off a bit. If it doesn't work be honest don't lead them on. You don't want to go down that road. GOOD LUCK!

Because you could have called one of your guy friends about school, but you called her. Plus, if these girls think you like them, it's probably because they've been hoping you'd call, and like you and want you to call, so when you do, they take it as a sign that you do like them. As a general rule, only call girls if you're friends with them and they know that, or if you like them. You can get today's homework from one of your dudes.

because it is a common way guys try to let a girl know that they like her. so the girl assumes that you do like her unless you r like the most popular guy in school and they arent even close to being up there. then they think well nothing but what is in their dreams .lol

becasue women have no self esteme of their own, so they constantly seek validation through the world around them and the people contained therein, anything they can interpret as interest they will so they can say "men are pigs all they think about is sex and filthy pick up lines" when guys really aren't doing that much. you see when you interperet everything as interest any real interest can be interpreted as coming on too strong, this way they don't have to date anyone their friends don't like.

I wouldn't say that every girl is like that, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the boy giving them attention. Like you called her so she feels like you care b/c you gave her attention. Does that make sense?lol!
