The fuse that powers the Cigar lighter and accessory power port in your 2001 Grand Prix is in the fuse panel on the right side of the dash next to the glove box and is labled "CIG LTR".
It should be a 15amp fuse.
Hope that helps

It probably is a fuse. But the ones you are looking for should be under the drivers side of the dash or behind a cover on the driver side of the dash by the door jamb. If you have an owners manual it will usually tell the exact location. Once you find the correct fuse panel it should have a label for the cigarette lighter or there should be a diagram in the owners manual. By the way the box under the hood is the power distribution box and the cigarette lighter fuse is not there.

In some cases the fuses are on the driver's side when you open your door there is a plastic panel on the side of the dash that has fuses there. But it's a good chance you may have blown you cigarette lighter. Hope this is not the case.

Under the hood, to the left, square black box...but the fuse you are looking for is labled as aux. output.., should be a 5 or 10 amp mini fuse..about in the center of the box...if I remember correctly..but just to be sure.. have someone test them all with a test light...but if nonw are blown... then you may have a electrical problem..
