guy posted this site claimed it was the sound of hell...
http://www.coasttocoastam.com/audio/sounds_of_hell.mp3
and that it was genuine.
my question is, where is the evidence of this? who went to hell and with what instrument did he record hell with? how did he take it beyond the grave with him? and how did he bring it back?
need i ask if anyone else thinks this claim is absurd?
(for the person who asked this: as a proclaimed christian shouldnt u refrain from lying ?)

I wonder if the person who claimed this got it from the Onion or from Weekly World News. They both have great articles on hell. I think my favorite was the Onion article that gave proof that hell is expanding and adding a few new levels for more recent types of "sins".
I think it is absurd, as if hell is a real place (which I believe it to be) then it is not possible to go there, record sounds, and come back.

This is most obviously a hoax. It requires nominal thought to figure that out.
Besides, if hell does exist, what makes you think it will sound the way we, humans imagine it? I can tell you these are the typical sounds we imagine when we think of hell. But if no one has been there and come back to tell us, how can one be sure that's how it will be? It sounds like wolves at a noisy banquet. If hell is not on earth, then why should it sound like something on earth? DOES it sound at all? What reason do we have for believing that it triggers the senses we have here on earth?
Look at it from any viewpoint you like, but it's still clearly not "genuine".
Besides, it doesnt matter how stupid a certain thing or idea is, label it Christian or something related to the Christian religion (such as jesus this jesus that), and every Christian will come running, believing everything (any of you remember the "Would Jesus shop at Wal-Mart?" ads? Apparently not, so a lot of people stopped shopping there too). You Christians need to be more careful and watch out for those kinds of things. :)

I think I know where this is from.
Supposedly---and I say that because it has been proven to be an urban legend, I believe---some archaeologists were working on a site, and had dug really deep into the Earth's crust. They were inspecting the deep hole with really sensitive listening equipment, and said listening equipment picked up these sounds.
Then, overlooking all the other possibilities, people jumped to the conclusion that they had picked up Hell.

i contemplate whether the guy who claimed this have been given it from the Onion or from Weekly worldwide information. They the two have super articles on hell. i think of my prominent replaced into the Onion article that gave evidence that hell is increasing and including some new tiers for extra moderen styles of "sins". i think of that's absurd, as though hell is a actual place (which i think it to be) then it is not achievable to bypass there, record sounds, and are available back.

It is absurd!!! Anyone who thinks that is real is a F**king Idiot. No one really knows what is on the other side and there is no way to bring back anything from there...especially some audio tape! Think about it...if you do cross to the other side...that means your dead....how are you going to come back and show off what hell sounds like?

I heard about that, it's an interesting story, but it goes along with the Hollow Earth theory, where not every single piece of probable evidence has been examined, like all the tunnels and caves, etc. :] So much left to be discovered.

Of course its not dopey.
Why is the world full of so many religious nuts?
If there was not religion there would be far less violence and war.
You really do have to dumb to still believe that the world was created in 7 days by god. I mean its 2007! Not the dark ages.
The good part is when you die you will soon find out that you wasted your whole life believing a man made fairytale.

Scary, I know. But it is funny how some believe what makes it in the papers, news, and radio.

As a Christian, we have the Biblical account of the horrors of HELL.....I don't think we need to worry about actual sound effects for now. I, for one, don't want to hear them, and the truth is I won't hear them.
